Chairman and President of FAPA.aero

LouisSmith

Louis Smith, President of FAPA.aero, is a retired Northwest Airlines captain, completing his career flying the DC-10 on international routes.  Outside of the cockpit, Smith's vision has long been in managing businesses whose primary mission focused on publishing and organizing information that would help current and aspiring commercial pilots succeed in their career--before and after landing the cockpit job. Getting a job in commercial aviation requires more than stick-and-rudder skills, and Smith has spent the past 42 years assisting pilots in reaching their career goals by providing a one-stop shop for the information required to stay on top of this dynamic and complex industry.

Hired at SkyWest Airlines

Hi Louis, Here's a quick note to say that my nephew's experience with the premium member FAPA interview preparations was excellent. He interviewed with SkyWest yesterday and was offered a job 45 minutes later. His CRJ class begins this month. He said that his mock interview and the suggestions he received from FAPA were quite valuable and that he was told that he "hit it out of the ballpark" on the HR portion of the interview. His father and I are so pleased that his aviation career is progressing so well.
